Speak More Than One Language? Schools Would Love to Hear From You.

Do you speak more than one language and enjoy working with children?

We partner with welcoming and diverse primary schools across Bristol who are looking for multilingual individuals to support pupils in the classroom and help them feel confident, included, and ready to learn.

Many of the schools we work with support children who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL). Staff who can communicate across languages and cultures make a huge difference, helping pupils feel understood, settle into school life, and grow in confidence.

Your language skills could support learning in lessons, help children adjust to a new school environment, and strengthen connections between schools and families.

If you enjoy working with young people and want to use your language skills in a meaningful way, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £92–£96 per day, paid weekly through PAYE

  • Flexible work that fits around your schedule

  • Paid classroom experience across KS1 and KS2

  • Free access to our CPD Academy, including behaviour management and classroom basics

  • Support from a friendly local Bristol consultant who knows their schools and communities

  • Regular bookings available, with opportunities for longer-term roles

What You Can Expect:

  • Friendly and inclusive primary schools across Bristol

  • Opportunities to support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL)

  • Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff

  • A mix of classroom support, small-group work, and 1:1 support

  • Clear guidance and structure throughout the school day

This Role Is Perfect If You

  • Speak one or more languages in addition to English

  • Enjoy supporting children with their learning and confidence

  • Are patient, positive, and comfortable communicating with others

  • Can build rapport quickly and create a calm, supportive environment

  • Are considering a career in education or looking to gain school-based experience

What Do We Need to Get You Cleared?

  • Passport

  • Two proofs of address, for example driving licence, utility bill, council tax letter, P45, or P60

  • CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained

  • Two years of references, including childcare or community work where possible

  • DBS check, we can support you with this if needed
