For the successful candidate, this role is intended to become permanent.

The School

This BS13 secondary serves a diverse local community and is rooted in a strong social justice ethos. Inclusion, equality and improving life chances aren’t buzzwords here, they’re central to the school’s identity.

There is:

A focus on behaviour and consistency
Clearer routines and boundaries across the school
Strong safeguarding systems
Investment in pastoral teams and support staff
Leadership committed to sustainable, long-term improvement

There are already early signs of progress. Relationships between staff and pupils are a genuine strength, and many students value the trusted adults around them.

This is a school rebuilding with purpose. Support staff are valued, invested in and seen as central to improvement.
