Looking for a role where you can genuinely change the shape of a child’s day?

We’re working with a welcoming primary school in South Bristol (BS3) that’s building something special in their SEND provision. They’re on the lookout for a calm, consistent Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with autism on a 1:1 basis.

This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about being the steady presence, the safe space, and the person who helps turn tricky mornings into small wins.

What your day might look like:

  • Supporting a pupil with routines, transitions, and sensory needs
  • Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
  • Using visual timetables and structured support strategies
  • Celebrating the little wins that matter most

The ideal candidate:
You’ve worked with SEND before, or you’ve got the patience and curiosity to learn quickly. You’re calm under pressure, consistent in your approach, and you don’t take behaviour personally. You build trust slowly, and that’s your superpower.

Why Protocol Education:

  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella faff
  • Free CPD, including SEND and behaviour training
  • A consultant who actually listens to what you want
  • Roles that fit your style, not just your CV

Apply now or give the branch a call on 0117 945 3960 for a friendly, no-pressure chat about the roles.
