The role

As a Computing Teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in technology while helping students develop the skills they'll use throughout their education and future careers.

You'll be:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 if applicable

  • Teaching topics including Computer Science, Programming, Digital Literacy, Cyber Security, Data Representation, and Creative Digital Technologies

  • Inspiring students through engaging, practical, and interactive learning experiences

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed

  • Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and innovative Computing curriculum

  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through coding clubs, STEM activities, and extracurricular opportunities

What we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching Computing or Computer Science within a secondary school

  • Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge

  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners of all abilities

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A positive, organised, and proactive approach
