An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing and well-established geotechnical consultancy. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office, home working, and site-based activities across various locations throughout the UK (typically 60% office / 40% site).

This position would suit an individual looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working across a diverse range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertaking and supervising ground investigations across multiple UK sites
• Logging soils and rocks in accordance with BS5930 standards
• Supporting and managing projects from planning through to delivery
• Acting as a point of contact for clients and maintaining strong working relationships
• Producing accurate factual reports
• Using logging software to capture and manage site data

Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience within ground investigation (graduate to mid-level)
• Competent in logging to BS5930
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage or support project delivery
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience using logging software (desirable)
