Some pupils need a little extra support to flourish. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you'll be the calm voice, the biggest cheerleader, and the helping hand that makes each school day a little brighter.
We're working with welcoming primary, secondary, and specialist schools across Bath looking for compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Whether you've worked in education, care, youth work, or support services, your experience could be exactly what our schools are looking for.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Helping children access learning in ways that suit their individual needs
- Building confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and other professionals
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
We'd love to hear from you if you
- Have experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults
- Have experience supporting individuals with SEND, or transferable skills from care or support roles
- Are patient, adaptable, and resilient
- Enjoy working as part of a team and making a positive impact every day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
