If you're the kind of teacher who sees beyond behaviour, spots potential where others see barriers, and believes every child deserves someone in their corner, keep reading.

We're working with a number of specialist SEMH schools across Bath looking for qualified teachers who can bring consistency, compassion, and confidence into the classroom.

These schools support pupils who may have experienced trauma, anxiety, exclusion, or challenges that have made mainstream education difficult. They need teachers who understand that every small breakthrough matters, and every positive relationship counts.

What you'll be doing

  • Teaching and supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Creating a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Building strong relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to learn
  • Adapting lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and pastoral teams

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience working with SEMH, SEND, PRU, alternative provision, or behaviour support settings
  • Are resilient, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping young people succeed
  • Understand the importance of trauma-informed practice
  • Can remain calm when days don't quite go to plan
