

Qualified Maths Teacher
We’re looking for a confident and adaptable Maths Teacher to work in SEMH settings in Bath and Northeast Somerset , where relationships matter just as much as results. You’ll be supporting pupils who need patience, consistency, and someone who can make algebra feel a little less scary and a lot more achievable.
This is flexible work that fits around you. Whether you want a few days a week or something longer-term, we’ll help you find the right fit, not just fill your diary.
What the role looks like:
- Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Creating calm, engaging learning environments
- Building trust and confidence with students who may have struggled in mainstream settings
- Working with supportive teams who genuinely care
You’ll need:
- UK QTS or strong unqualified teaching experience
- Experience teaching Maths in secondary or alternative provision settings
- Calm, resilient energy and a good sense of humour helps too
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
