The Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in primary schools across Basildon.

Whether you're covering a single day, a week, or a longer-term placement, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference while enjoying the flexibility to work when it suits you.

No two days are the same, making supply teaching a fantastic way to keep your passion for teaching alive while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Following school planning or adapting lessons where required
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
  • Supporting pupils to achieve their best throughout the school day
  • Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Are confident, reliable and adaptable
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Are passionate about helping children succeed
  • Can build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
